Through my art I try to capture the beauty of nature using oil and acrylic paints. The times when I am immersed in nature, is when I feel closest to God. Trees fascinate me the most and I really enjoy the process of making them become the focal point of my paintings. My inspiration is drawn from the impressionist painters, specifically their styles of paintings where they captured on a canvas, nature and everyday life around them.

Working with oil paints gives me the greatest satisfaction. However, one day, while working on an oil painting, I started using a palette knife instead of my brush. Since then my style and my approach to most of my oil paintings has been using palette knives.

I also enjoy learning new techniques and experimenting with creating art using different mediums. One such technique that caught my interest was painting on wood and then rusting the painting to make it looked aged. It is a fascinating process with interesting results.
